Got tired of reading AI news, so I built an automation that does it for me (18 sources, 100+ hrs saved)
Like a lot of people, I’ve been struggling to keep up with the latest developments in AI. I found that there were some great newsletters tracking recent developments but even they were too many in number to keep up with. So I collected all the newsletters I was recommended and put them in a workflow where an AI read all of them for me and summarised the most important updates based on my preferences. The amount of content it summarizes is almost 100 hours of reading time per week! Technically, it was pretty simple to make too, just a few network requests and RSS feeds with a little bit of javascript to transform/strip the data. Has anybody else automated personal information triaging or built an automated newsletter? Curious if you’ve found it useful long term. P.S - I’m starting an automation agency and building free automations for people for a limited time in exchange for reviews. If anybody has a specific use case, let me know! Edit - Was getting a lot of DMs and comments for the template, so here it is. Cheers!
